Our next stop was the Velvet Cigar Lounge, the owner of which, Danny Bsharat, was super-accomodating and helpful to the production. Also, one of the biggest scenes in the film takes place outside it, so Lucy Liu, Brie Larson, and Scott Johnsen joined Michael C. Hall and Brad Henke for a rehearsal.

Next on Friday we kept Michael C. Hall and Brad Henke and moved on to the roof of a nearby EV building, on 12th Street off Avenue A. Brad, don’t look so happy!
